West Bengal govt to give special status to RKM institutes
Business Standard reports that the educational institutes of Ramakrishna Mission would be granted autonomy by West Bengal government, which would help in their development according to the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
“We have taken a policy decision that all schools and colleges under them would be excluded from school service commission. We will give them self autonomy,”
Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee
(At the convocation of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University at Belur, West Bengal)“Our approach to education is holistic and includes character building as well. So we had asked the state government to give us autonomy in selection of qualified monks as teachers in our institutes,”

Hope this will give ample opportunities for the Ramakrishna Mission to spread the ideals of value based education among their students.
